Q: Is I.O.U.S.A. still in theaters?

A: The documentary opened in theaters in August 2008, and was re-released in October 2008. It is currently screening only at film festivals in the United States and internationally.

Q: When will the I.O.U.S.A. DVD be available for release?

A: Two versions of I.O.U.S.A. are now available for pre-order from PBS—the home video edition, and the educational edition, which includes a license to show the film to large audiences. The DVD is also available on Amazon.

A: The 30-minute "byte-sized" version is available on our homepage, IOUSA's official site, and on YouTube, Lycos, Blip, and Vimeo. Q: Where can I view the panel discussions that accompanied the I.O.U.S.A. premieres?

A: Highlights of the premiere panel discussion that included Warren Buffett, Pete Peterson, Bill Novelli, William Niskanen and Dave Walker can be seen on YouTube. CNN also showed the film on television in January 2009. A transcript of the CNN panel discussion is available here.

Q: Can I schedule a private screening of I.O.U.S.A. for my organization?

A: PGPF has been pleased to help arrange private screenings at over 200 academic intuitions and organizations around the country. For educational showings, a copy of the DVD is available on loan, with a user agreement form that can be filled out via email. If your university, college or organization would like to sponsor a free, private screening of the movie, please email screening@pgpf.org and we will respond to your request as soon as possible. Include in your email a brief proposal outlining where and when you intend to show the film, and who the audience will be. Also, please include your contact information and the name of any faculty or organization sponsors.
